Project Summer
Project Summer's Curriculum and Incentive Program aims to prevent the "summer slide" phenomenon among children and youth in grade school. This refers to the learning loss that typically occurs during the summer break when students are not actively engaged in educational activities. Our program is designed to bridge the learning gap and ensure that children continue to learn and grow over the summer months. We do so through:
***Curriculum: The program provides a structured curriculum that covers essential subjects such as math, reading, and critical thinking. The curriculum is designed to be engaging and interactive, making learning fun for the participants.
***Incentives: To keep participants motivated and engaged, the program offers incentives for completing learning activities and achieving milestones. These incentives can include rewards, recognition, and certificates. This helps create a positive learning environment and encourages students to actively participate in the program. The children will also get a chance to participate in the Project Summer Graduation in September.
***Project Summer also offers a Nutritional Snack Program. We will encourage healthy eating and exercise ideas along with passing out snacks during the summer months.
By combining a structured curriculum, personalized learning, virtual resources, mentoring, and incentives, the program effectively bridges the learning gap during the summer break and ensures that students continue to learn and grow academically.
Project Summer Connect
Project Summer Connect is a program that aims to connect sponsors with children who will be sponsored during the summer. The program's primary objective is to provide support to children by assisting them with the resources they need throughout the school year. The importance of Project Summer Connect lies in its ability to address the educational and developmental needs of children, ensuring they have a successful academic journey. How it works:
***The program works by matching sponsors with children who require assistance. Sponsors can be individuals, organizations, or companies willing to provide financial support, educational resources, or mentorship to a child in need.
***Once the connection is established, sponsors can provide various forms of support to the sponsored children. This support can include purchasing school supplies, textbooks, and uniforms, or even providing financial assistance for tuition fees.
Project Summer Connect operates on the understanding that children's educational needs extend beyond the classroom and school year. By bridging the gap during the summer break, the program ensures that children have access to the necessary resources and support throughout the year.
Elements of Identity
The importance of this program lies in its ability to foster a positive and supportive environment where children can develop essential skills and competencies that contribute to their overall well-being and success. By focusing on social and emotional learning, the program recognizes that academic achievement alone is not sufficient for a child's holistic development. We implement a SEL Program along with education and awareness of Mental Health and Wellness in Children and Youth.
***The SEL Program encourages them to explore their interests, understand and regulate their emotions, develop self-awareness, cultivate social awareness, build healthy relationships, make responsible decisions, and identify and leverage their strengths. They learn how to effectively communicate their thoughts and feelings, manage stress and conflicts, empathize with others, make ethical choices, and build positive relationships with peers and adults.
***The program works by incorporating SEL into various aspects of the curriculum and activities. It may include dedicated SEL sessions, interactive workshops, group discussions, role-playing exercises, and reflective practices.
***The program provides age-appropriate education about mental health, mental illnesses, and the importance of overall well-being. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and guest speakers, participants gain insights into the significance of mental health and are encouraged to break the stigma surrounding it. We also refer if needed​.

The Special Education Advocates Program is a vital initiative focused on advocating for children with special needs and ensuring they receive the support and accommodations necessary for their educational success.
The importance of this program lies in its commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their disabilities.
***The program offers Individualized Education Program (IEP) services, working closely with parents, to help them understand the developed personalized plans that meet each student's unique needs.
***The program plays a crucial role in raising awareness among the public about the different elements and disabilities in children. By sharing information and resources, we strive to foster a more inclusive and understanding society. We educate the public about the rights and needs of children with disabilities, promoting empathy, acceptance, and support.

The Learning Tree

***One of the key aspects of the Learning Tree Literacy Program is its focus on personalized instruction. The program recognizes that individuals have unique learning styles, abilities, and needs. Therefore, it provides tailored instruction to meet the specific requirements of each learner.

G.R.O.W.
G.R.O.W. incorporates essential areas such as Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, Leadership Skills, Life Skills, College and Career Readiness, and Hands-on Computer Technology Skills.
***One of the key components of G.R.O.W. is teaching children about entrepreneurship. This involves introducing them to the concept of starting and running their own businesses.
***Financial literacy is another crucial aspect of the program. Children are educated on topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding financial institutions. They learn the importance of making informed financial decisions and managing money responsibly. B

Expressive Echoes
Expressive Echoes is an innovative arts and culture program that encourages participants to explore and express themselves through the powerful mediums of poetry, drawing, and painting. This program aims to ignite creativity, foster self-expression, and celebrate the beauty of diverse art forms.

They learn various poetic forms, techniques, and styles, and are encouraged to express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences through the written word.
***Drawing and Painting Classes: In addition to poetry, Expressive Echoes offers drawing and painting classes to explore visual arts as a form of self-expression. Participants learn fundamental drawing techniques, such as shading, perspective, and composition, and are guided in creating their own artwork.
***Art Exhibitions and Showcases: Expressive Echoes provides opportunities for participants to showcase their artistic creations through exhibitions and showcases. Participants have the chance to display their poetry, drawings, and paintings in a public setting, allowing them to share their artistic journey and receive recognition for their creativity.
***Creative Collaboration: The program encourages collaborative projects that bring together poetry, drawing, and painting. Participants have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow artists to create interdisciplinary artworks that combine written and visual elements.
***Artistic Field Trips and Cultural Immersion: Expressive Echoes organizes field trips to art galleries, museums, and cultural landmarks to expose participants to a wide range of artistic styles, periods, and cultural influences.
